Default Power seat height adjustment???

I've just discovered why I can't get comfortable in my car ('06 A4 convertible), the (driver) seat will not adjust low enough. Passenger side is perfect, seat goes low, very comfortable... my head isn't hitting the roof. Not so with driver seat, looks like it is maybe half as low as passenger side "approx". Nothing seems to be obstructing the seat. Is there any adjustment that can be made on the seat? Anybody out there have/resolve a similar problem? Thanks,

Default Driver seat adjustment...?

you did not specify if you had power seats 💺 or manual seats. Both may have a thigh cushion adjustment to move you more forward or back, which may give you a little more room. The power seats have more height and angle adjustment options and don’t forget the seat adjustment on the seat back.

Power seat ... it was a bad seat height adjustment motor (worm gear was damaged). I purchased a new motor from VW dealer and installed last year (Feb/2017).

Not very. The hardest part for me was removing the old motor, had to disassemble some stuff once the seat was out to access the motor bolts. Also, make sure battery is disconnected for about 15 minutes before unhooking the power supplies under the seat (there were three in my car), something to do with airbag safety. There are a lot of videos out there re this subject. Oh ... a special 12 spline socket is needed to remove four bolts that secure the seat to the car.
