2015 TDI shifts seem jerky, low, or out of synch. A few other odd issues

I wasn't clear: yes they were separate options. I stated that thePrestige came with ventilated seats which may or may not account for not appreciating a rougher ride. My suggestion was to actually test drive (if you haven't already done so) each engine/package variant before dismissing the sports suspension as I found the ride in the Prestige with the TDI no worse (and better) than the non-sport with the gas engines driving on Cleveland area roads that leave much to be desired.

There are others on the forum far more knowledgeable than I regarding the 2014 sports package with respect to how much tighter the suspension actually was than non-sport, but obvious features included: 3-spoke steering wheel with shift paddles, 19" wheels (not 20" for 2014), drive select and the car's stance lowered by a small amount (less resistance).

I have been very happy with the sport suspension and 19 inch season dedicated tires. To each their own.

If the US wasn’t the poor stepchild of Audi marketing then the A6 would have the option to select variable suspension. I would have selected variable because the sport is too harsh and not commensurate with a luxury sports sedan and the regular suspension is a bit too soft for a luxury sports sedan.
Of course, bigger wheels just suck but as long as some people think that they look better then they will offer them. Soon reality will set in and any aspect ratio below 45 will be for boy racers only.

Same here but with 20 inch, despite DB22 negativity towards them
