2016 2.0 PP+ or 3.0 V6 Prestige?

The MT article doesn't state the figure is for the U.S.. but arguably is meant globally. With the long time trend in the U.S. for larger cars and more powerful engines (and bigger things in general, i.e. appliances, TVs, etc.), I would propose that 4 cyl A6s sold in the U.S. make up less than 50%.
In any case, I don't really care what the share percentages are. I preferred the 3.0T over the 2.0T when I first test drove both and for my next one, will still pass on the 4 banger (I might consider the TDI). I felt the same way when comparing the 2009 A4 3.2 over the 2.0 and I went with the 3.2 which sadly, was not available after that year.
I know there are 2.0 adherents here in the forums and that the performance for 2016 has been stepped up a bit but I prefer the smoothness, sound and overall performance of the 6 cyl. To me, at least, it is a better match to the size and weight of the A6.
