Any try the K&N Oil filter?
Has anyone tried the K&N oil filter on their C7?

I typically use the Mann HU7029z but can't get my hands on one for a few days and the K&N is available locally. Does anyone have any experience with it?

+1 last thing any of us needs is an exploding/leaking non-OEM filter and the attendant potential catastrophic engine failure. I recall a thread on NSXPrime where an Acura NSX owner used a Fram filter and the results were costly, to say the least. No, was not me. OEM only thank you very much.
Wait until the Mann shows up -- your A6 will thank you.
