Climate control
Hello, I have an a6 2016 saloon
I recently had a flat battery and had to call out someone to jump start it. The AA man ran a battery check and advised the battery is not 100%. Due to this he plugged in the computer and there was loads of faults...he said this was down to when I tried to turn the engine over not enough power was getting through to the relevant systems so it registered a fault. He managed to clear all the faults expect one...sonething to do with the instrument display. Anyway it all looks and runs fine.
however, there is now a problem with the climate control. I always leave it off and turn it on whenever I need it. Now it comes on automatically after about 30 secs of driving. When I turn it off it comes back on again about 20-30 seconds later.
in addition the sync button goes off after a couple of minutes and if I was to change the fan speed the drivers side is always plus one more than the passenger. If I press the sync button it all matches up but again if I press off it comes back on.
any ideas...could it be the battery is not powering all the systems and I need a new one....is it the last code that couldn't cleared...any thoughts would be great.
