I also have a 2015 A6 and I was also concerned about the MMI, but after 48,000 miles, absolutely no issues with the car including the MMI. I used drive Porsches & BMW Z3, so I sort of understand where the "remote" comments come from as feedback from the tires is more muted than in those cars, but I got to fling the A6 around on an autocross course and despite typical Audi understeer, I was able to keep up with a BMW M3. As far as tires go, I replaced the OEM Contis with the latest version of the Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06 and have extremely happy with them, both in dry, wet and snow.

This is most likely due to reviews being done on the standard model, while yours has the sport suspension with 20" wheels. I tested with and without the sport suspension and its an entirely different car.

congrats! I am one of those that goes back and forth between the two. 325i, Audi TT MK1, X3, Z4M, M6 and now back in an A6. Personally I think the Audi CPO coverage is far better than the BMW CPO warranty. BMW seems to exclude a lotta stuff in the fine print, ie rubber hoses....

Good to hear! it's likely that your car has the upgraded mechanism! Congrats again!

Meanwhile it has the BMW beat in all other regards and unlike an A4 my wife had a couple of years ago, not much brake dust to be seen so far!

+1 Completely agree. I have driven the 2.0 regular and sport and the non sport 3.0 models with 19" and 20" wheels, and have to say for me the 3.0 w/Sport & 20 inch was the way to go as soon as I drove it both times

Funny story, when my 2012 was totaled (murdered by a wrong way drunk driver) and I was about to get my 2016, a buddy who had the 2.0 as a rental came to me and told me that I should reconsider. I took him for a test drive with me in the 3.0 with sport suspension and 20" wheels and he changed his mind

this is true and must be noted that base A6 just feels like a bmw it is floaty and everything seems loose and road feedback seems to be not so good. Sports/Sline is miles ahead.

Yeah, I drove a 2017 3.0T non-sport with 18" wheels this weekend, and the handling wasn't all that great. I mean, it was OK, but nothing exciting. Still looking for a sport one.
