Hard Brake Pedal in the Morning
This just started happening a few weeks ago. My daily driver usually has a soft brake pedal when I go to start it up in the morning. Lately, the pedal has been hard. I can only assume something happened and it is losing vacuum overnight. Anyone have a similar experience and if so, was it something easy to fix or am I looking at a whole new booster replacement? Is there a check valve somewhere that I can replace? Brakes are perfectly fine otherwise.

Interesting to hear this. I have experienced same on my /15 3.0T a few times. Had same on wife's Volvo S80 T6. There was a rebuild kit for some $40 -- a few rubber gaskets -- that fixed the issue. Hopefully same on the A6. I'm going to let dealer know as I am still under warranty until July but if they don't fix it I'm just going to live with it. Not a big deal and certainly not worth hundreds if not more to tix.
