Default left turn signal/brake light /rear light warning

I just started getting this a couple of weeks ago and it goes away sometime. Other times all the LED's work just fine. Does anyone else have this problem?

I had the problem a couple of years ago. Audi replaced the entire light unit under warranty.

I hope I don't have to replace the whole assembly. That will cost allot of money. Maybe I can get one from a wrecked A6

Since it was replaced under warranty I don’t know the cost. I would guess around $400.

I just took an hour and a half trip yesterday and the signal/brake light work just fine. No problems or warnings. I had the wife hit the brake and turn signals while I watched and everything is lighting up. Does anyone know the name of the control module that might be at fault? Maybe it's cheaper to replace than the light assembly.

I was having a similar issue. Now at this point my entire inner drivers side light is out except for when I signal and hit the brake. Shop here wants $400 ++ to replace the assembly. Following this also.

I did it myself with this OEM part from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Valeo-44694-Driver-Light-Assembly/dp/B008BR6ZY4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1542646087&sr=8-2&keywords=Valeo+44694 https://www.amazon.com/Valeo-44694-Driver-Light-Assembly/dp/B008BR6ZY4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1542646087&sr=8-2&keywords=Valeo+44694

It only took about 10 minutes. This part had all the same stickers, number and marking as the one I removed.

Does this really work? I have seen no responses.
