On a side Note,
I am a gadget guy and have been interested by this replacement screen i seen on youtube but haven't found much info on it yet. It would do a lot of what you asked and still working with Mmi.....i think.

I have a 2013 Audi A6 Prestige (3.0T). I am currently running Software Version: HN+R_US_AU_P0609 and Navigation Database Version: 8R0060884BA NAR 5.7.3 . I have 2 major questions.
1. Is it possible to update my software to a newer version? I would like to run the 2016 version if possible. Can the hardware handle it? If so would a dealer do it free of charge or would they charge you to update the software? Would I be able to get the map in the driver information screen like in the 2016- A6s?
