Which means that no one who isn't a DEEP Audi-aficionado will ever know what it actually means or does
Also, the very reason, I'm changing out the TFSI badge on my dad's Q5 to a 3.0T badge...although even that is wrong, since as we all know, there's no turbo in the 3.0 engine.

I have a 2013 S5 with the 3.0 SC engine. On my fenders it said V6T, which was not correct, so I replaced those with "Supercharged" badges.
On the 2016 A6 it says "Supercharged" on both fenders, but the rear says 3.0T. I suppose I can remove that and place a "Supercharged" badge, or just leave it blank, or do nothing. It is my wife's car and she could care less.
TFSI stands for Turbo Fuel Stratified Injection.

I have seriously contemplated removing the "T" from the 3.0 but then my the Quattro logo would no longer be centered and I would have to move that over plus I've been mulling over changing the rear emblems to black so I have not done anything.

IMO the car looks better with the A6 / 3.0T and Quattro badges removed. The rear of the car looks cleaner and in the older models (2014) made the rear look less prominent. When I had to have the trunk replaced on my 2014 A6 i did not have them replace the emblems (and saved $250) and I thought it looked a lot cleaner. Becomes more of a stealth model as well.
