1000 mi on my '01 2.7T. Couple of questions.
1. I finally tried the back seat after a month of ownership. I noticed that both rear windows are not operateable from their own control switches. However, they both work fine from driver's control switch. Is there some kind of setting I'm not aware off or I need to take it to the dealer?
2. Is it normal to have a ~.5 sec lag when shifting from D to R? When try making U turn but couldn't make it all the way, if I let go the brake right after shift D->R, the car would still move forward a little (from small downhill angle from road to curve) until the Reverse gear kicked in.
4. Coming out from driveway to street, if i turn the wheel all the way and then give it gas, I feel vibration on steering wheel. Normal?
3. OEM fog light went out and one side marker has moisture, is it cover by Warranty?
TIA

Very common problem on earlier models.
This switch and the two buttons for the trunk release/security defeat breakdown quite often. I've seen about six incidents in the past 1.5mo alone. I think someone said the power window lockout switch can be purchased from clairparts for around $30.
The most common problem is: when you depress the rear window lockout switch, it does not stay down, it just pops right back up. If you hold it down, it might still work, but only while holding it down.
for the other two buttons, the spring mechanism fails, so the buttons dont click properly and may still function without it, or cease to function in its entirety.
