The air conditioning on my car is not working properly. Driver side blows out semi-cool air, passenger side cool but not cold air. Temp is set the same. This is the second summer this has happened. Last summer they had to tear out the dash and fix the air conditioning unit under warranty. Car now has 40k. Anybody else experience like problems. I also have a concern that it wont' stay fixed and will break again post 5ok. Seems to me it should still be covered as it has never been fixed properly if it only last less than a year. Going in for service tomorrow. Thoughts.

What did they fix last time? It should be on the repair order.

my A/C refrigerant was drained when my engine was replaced and then underfilled.

Once drained (only .26 Kg present) and refilled to proper level (.65 Kg) it has been just fine.

Perhaps you have a leak in your system.

Thanks for all the advice. I took it in for service yesterday. They replaced an O-ring in the evap/drier hose and recharged the system. Worked on the way home. They said the bad O-ring was causing a leak in the system. Hope this is all it was. This was under warranty as the car is a 2002 with 40K.
