Default 270 hp AT THE WHEELS! Thanks to Curry's Auto. What a difference from 182 hp! Finally, no more anemic

1st gear. Now I can hear the turbos spool up. Let's not forget the exhaust. Nice tone. And I finally got the chance to see and touch the RS6 Recaros. Yes I over did the seat thing but they are really Sweet! They go in next Friday along with my Stasis brake upgrades. And the ride with the H&R coilover kit really takes the stock "boat ride" feeling away. It's firm but not too firm...kinda like my stomach! It's good to finally have her back. It's been in the shop since Feb 23!

Default Hey Esquire, I'm having a little tech session at my house and would really like to see your car.

It is scheduled for the afternoon of April 9, provided my plane back from Japan is not cancelled or late. I live in Fairfax station. A few of my buddies are getting ready for the track event at VIR. Potomac 2.7T may also stop by.

Let me know if you are interested.

Default The 2.7 only puts out 270 at the wheels with KO4's that suprises me

I was just talking to my service writer the other day and he estimated 340 at the wheels with KO4's. My M3 does 325 at the wheels with 9lbs of boost from a Vortech blower. Are the drivetrain loses that severe from the Quattro

Default I'm not going to reach the full potential with the K04s until I do the fuel and manifold upgrades

along with the S4 MAS and intercoolers. As far as I know from GIAC, there is no chip/program for the A6 2.7 with the K04s. The chip/program is only for the K03s, thereby the lower HP. I only upgraded to K04s because my passenger side turbo was leaking oil. But for the time being, I'm happy with the 270 and the overall performance. Besides, this is supposed to be my "beater" car.

Default Yes I am interested and thanks for the invite. However, I may be with my Z in Georgia that week

at Z1 Motorsports trying to address a possible piston or head gasket problem. I have blue/white smoke from both exhausts when I get on it. I'll email you with my contact info because I'd like to link up with my fellow A6ers in the area so I can pick your collective brains, tell lies and drink beer.
