A6 Airbag Warning Light
I've had my '99 A6 for about a month now, and the Airbag warning light decided to light up on Thanksgiving. The manual says to take it to the dealer, but I was wondering if anyone might have an idea as to what it might be (I bought the car from an Audi dealer so it's certified). I sort of surprised that it has a problem like this.
All thoughts welcome -- especially for advice on how to turn the thing of myself.

I'm sure it just registered some misc fault on a system "scan".....go have the dealer reset it.
My '99 did this on a cold day last year. However, mine came on for about 5 minutes then went off by itself. Hasn't come on again in the last year.
If yours doesn't go off it will need to be scanned by the dealer (or a friend with a scan tool). Hopefully it's nothing.
