A6 is gone, on to an Allroad...
Drove out to a dealer that had the 2005 Allroad w/ 35,000 miles on it priced at $28.9k. At least for the SF Bay area, that was about $4k less than comparable cars of that year/mileage. He wouldn't budge much on the price and didn't give me what I wanted in trade-in either, but in the end, it was what I wanted and now I can move on. Pulled out my RNS-E and drove the Allroad home. Interesting thing that when I got home and looked in the garage, there was a substantial puddle of oil on the garage floor. Up to last week, there had never been oil on the garage floor, so clearly something, perhaps the turbos had accelerated their deterioration, so feeling even better now about having gotten rid of my old A6. The Allroad was a lease in Hawaii, then got auctioned off and sent back to California. So, being in Hawaii, no cold weather package, but then, don't need that often in California anyway. Interior and exterior are in great shape. Just spent the last couple of hours cleaning the interior and protecting it with Lexol & Vinylex. Looking forward to learning more about the Allroads and getting to know this car.

Nice but the value will tumble as the C6 allroad starts to hit the market. Prices here....
for the C5 have fallen dramatically - ask The_Brit for his experience on the S8 forum.
