Default It is about time...1st mod is on its way! - Eibach Pro-System

Thanks to everyone for their input and advice on suspensions. I believe I made the right choice.
<insert smart a$$ comments below>
I guess this is technically Mod #2 (clear corners are done)
I will, of course, post before and after pics and see if there is any advice to be dispensed as far as install tips/tricks not yet mentioned.
A friend who is an indy Porsche/Audi mechanic is assisting with the install.

Any suggestions for things to look for or items to repair / replace during the install?

One teeny tiny step closer to getting the TT feel back

Did you buy the kit locally through your friend that is helping you out?

Default Nope - ebay, new in box.

My guy has parts access thru world-pac which was great for the TB and brakes etc, but he doesn't get 'deals' on performance parts ;(

Default i just got the same kit on my 2.8 couple days ago and love it!!!

i'm going to post pictures soon, but i didn't do the installation myself. I had my indy shop do it.

i actually wanted to get the break job done with the suspension job, but couldn't just wait till to ride with the new shocks and springs.

more to come...

You'll love it. Don't forget the 4 wheel alignment.

Default i wouldn't go to the stealership.. they quoted me...

6+ hours of labor ($500+)

my indy quoted me 4+ hrs of labor + wheel alignment (~$350), but then I guess it depends on how honest your dealership is.

I paid $148.00 at my dealership last week for alignment only.

Top pinch bolts can be a bear...anti-sieze the new ones before installation. Good luck!
