That's the only thing!
The technical side, as to which actual transmission was in the UrS4/6 4.2 auto. My point would be that if it is the same as found in the A6, then stand clear of it! Of course I have two of them... and I'm talking. So far I am not sure if we have given you any good answers... sorry, but we never get the <b>really</b> cool cars! =)<p>>>Muhammad

But it MUST be beefed up for the 4.2 versions and A8 here in the US... otherwise I think it would fail under that load.<p>>>Muhammad

All the S4/S6 cars in the US (1992-1995.5) and Canada (thru '96 or '97) had the 5-speed manual transmission in the 6-speed case. No automatics were offered. All these cars had the in-line 5-cyclinder motor. The S6+ was not imported to North America.<p>Peter R Dieckerhoff
