Anyone know how to read a wiring diagram? My overhead light rarely comes on when you turn off the
ignition or open a door (any door). It works fine when you manually push the switch to the right, full on position.
I figure it is the switch/fixture itself or the central locking controller. The switch is the easier fix, but after looking at the wiring diagram in Bentley I cannot figure out the best way to test the switch.
Any electronically inclined AWers out there? Thanks.

I had a similar problem with my 4.2 the rear light would not go on when I opened the door or with the switch. I hit the roof liner a few times and now the light works. To test the switch you could try a continuity tester that might let you know if the is current going to the switch. I hope that helps.
