Default Audi Chrome Trim Cloudy, Dull???

What to do regarding my A6 4.2 chrome trim...started to look dull 3 years old. Now, at 5 years milky and dull. My car is pristine and garaged. My clearcoat looks fine. Nothing else on the exterior affected. My dealer doesn't care (Cherry Hill Audi, South Jersey). Just off phone with Audi Advocate...states I must take up with dealer. Any one else have this problem? Solution? Audi warranty is for rust and corrision only...AOA says. Thank You!

I have asserted my warranty, and AOA specifically stated that is for rust and corrosion only, not wear and tear... WTF?

Default just got ours replaced under warrenty, it was cludy and oxidizing...........

it is a long drawn out process, you'll need to take the car to the dealer and have them work with you, it is not normally covered under warrenty, and they have to get permission from the regional rep. to have it replaced. Once the parts come in, expect it to be a long drawn out process, could take anywhere from 5 to 15 days for all the parts to come in, and as long to have it replaced.
