Audi Factory Roof Rack load bars for sedans post your pictures!
just wondering what the factory roof rack load bars look on the C5 sedan if you have it on your car post your pictures!

Yup! Used the OEM bars for a recent trip to Fort Ticonderoga...

Because of the bars or the bugs?
The bugs washed off very easily...actually, one heavy rain and they were mostly gone.
The bars have very nicely modled rubber feet that run along the rail of the roof, and I made sure that the car and the rubber feet were clean, as well as a little Meguiars quick was under the area of the bar's feet.

Another anecdote about the roof bars on the A6...
...I never noticed the small white arrows on the door seal along the roof line where the roof bar clips line up. Kinda cool...they make it farily idiot proof!

OEM roof rack vs Yakima,Thule Systems does it have higher towers making the rack stick out higher?
Very NICE! i just scored one on ebay! does this one actually stick out higher than most systems like the yakima and thule are they closer to the roof ?
