Default Damn, those A4 prices are creeping right up there

I am thinking mebbe a 3.0q would be a good replacement for my A6 2.8q when the lease is up, but now I'm not so sure.

Great to have the info. Am awaiting an S6. How about the option base prices for it: telematics, heated rear, read side air bags, hot weather pack, ...?

Have any thoughts about dealer up-pricing or discounting to start?

Thanks.
George

Default They won't be discounting newly introduced models

Hell, they weren't discounting A4s for a long, long time! Dealers had a take it or leave it attitude because they could get away with it. That will be the case with the S6 for many months.

If you have to have it right away, you have to pay the price. Xmas ornaments are always cheapest in February.

Default If they limit the S6 to 1200/year, they may never discount unless they don't sell...

The 4.2 and 2.7T with sport packages tend to not be discounted as much either, and typically don't hang around the Audi lot as long as the non-sports here in Indianapolis

I would guess that it will take at least a year before S6 MIGHT be discounted.
