Default BD and others: My "new" sporet seats do not have a yellow connector for side airbags

Is that connector for the front or rears?
I dont see any sign of rear curtain airbags in the car, were rear air bags standard in 2002?
I have the whole car torn apart and now I finds out that the sport seats only have connectors for the heated seats, which I do not have.
What do you guys say?

Default Are you talking about the fronts?

If the front seats have the little "AIRBAG" tag on the side of the seatback, then you should have the yellow connector pictured below. If the seats do not (which I would be suprised if they did not), then you would need to get a jumper that is used when installing aftermarket seats to avoid the warning light.

If you are tlaking about the rears, I am pretty sure that the wiring connector back there is for a sensor in the seat, so it knows to blow the side curtain airbag (above your head) if there is a passenger in the rear seat passenger side.

If the seats do not have this connector, they were likely cut out, or the car did not hvae side curtain airbags perhaps?

Default No the rears, the comfort seats have a yellow connector but the sports only have the heated seat con

Is there a way to jump that connector so the air bags woudl work properly and airbag light wont come on.
The yellow connector is on the 2/3 side (behind pass)

In SoCal, we only want a/c'd seats. We still get temps in the 90's to 100 here.
