Are there any wooden shifter ***** made for the Tiptronic tranny shifter?

Before purchasing my A6 I drove a
Passat 4-Motion with Tip, it had a beautiful
wooden shifter which matched the wood trim.
I was dissapointed that the Audi's wasn't so.
Perhaps it can be transplanted???

Not sure....it's a completelly different look. More like a "T" shifter instead of the way ours is shaped.

Now that I think of it you are correct.
But I think it has the same basic mechanism,
eg, the button on the side....

Yes, Race Design makes a "Walnut look" shift **** for the A4/A6. It is $159.00 part number 038863 from the Tuning Zubehor catalogue, Phone number 1-877-982-3467. I have a feeling there are more, but I just got the catalogue and am only 50 pages in out of 600 or so, if I see any others I will let you know.
