Anyone have a copy of the Detailed "We Care!" step by step instructions for a timing belt replacement for a 99-04 2.7T? I called them today to ask for one and they will not send out a copy before I purchase the kit. Copyright reasons, I guess. I want to get a head start on studying for this project so I am fully prepared in a month.

Read some other DIY. Blau parts is OK but it's not a perfect DIY by any means. I used the bentley and two other write-ups to do mine but it's a 3.0.

Yes, the one in the tech section is what I probably will use along with the Bently manual, but I was just looking to get as much info before I tear into the car as I can. Guess I'll have to order the kit early to get the their instructions.

Consider skipping the front end tear down and just going with service position. Most write-ups make the job harder than it needs to be.

Do all your seals too.

Service position - definitely. I have a 15yo nephew helping so he can fit into the spaces that I can't get my fat butt into!

Luckily, I had all the seals on the back of the engine replaced under my CPO less than a year ago. That CPO has really paid off.

The only other question that I hope you can answer is - On the front of the engine, are there more than the two cam sprocket seals? From the picture on ECS's website, it looks like there are sensors for the other cam in the head that might have seals also. Is it worth it to try to replace those two seals while I'm in there?
