Default On-Board Computer Display

My display in the Center of the cluster went Blank while driving this morning. What's Up? Is this normal or do I smell trouble?

Also a new stereo was just put in my 2.7T 2 weeks ago. However, the volume appears to be low. What is SVC and how do you adjust that to increase volume. Please help.

2000 A6 2.7T 6spd.

Default Did you turn it off by chance . . .

check the flush button on the bottom of the wiper stalk. Also, the low volume might be associated with a low initial volume setting. Check the owners manual on how to set the various volume settings such as initial on volume and gala settings (each separate).

The owners manual will also have a diagram showing where the center display cycle button is located.

None of what I mention may work. Its worth a try.

Default That's what I did Saturday!! Only 10 hours post-delivery and

I was staring at a blank screen. I called the dealer and sure enough, I pressed the button under the wiper stalk. Duh!

Mine did that when my 2002 was 2 weeks old. They had to replace the radio.
