Bumper Color Follow Up
A few weeks back I posted regarding an issue with my front bumper skin's paint job. I found that my black bumper was originally forest green. I had asked for advice from fellow owners, a few of which responded with similar issues... and advice. I wanted to report back what happened and what process I used to get the result.
1) I reported the incident to the local service and body shop.
2) The Service Manager requested the Zone Rep review the problem.
3) I met them both to review the issue.
4) The Zone Rep and Service Manager agreed that replacing the skin was what they wanted to do.
Frankly they were great. They took ownership of the issue and offered resolution in a timely fashion with little hassle.
Tricia is the Zone Rep I had experience with. She was both pleasant and reasonable.
I have done business with John Holtz for some time. This is my second car with the Audi department, and my service contact Paul has always been great.
For those of you that do business in the North East these folks did a nice job for me.
Thanks to the other people that posted their experiences and recommendations. I am grateful they got me the results I was looking for.

Re: Where in the North East?
Upstate NY... Rochester to be exact... but I am not sure what area a "Zone Rep" covers... but she was great, as John Holtz (the dealership) has been.

Re: Not a factory bumper that came on your car from the factory?!
Yes from the factory....
And Yes I bought it new...
Yes, it didn't think that was acceptable for a car with a 45k MSRP.
They did however act like a luxury car dealer in their quick rectification of the problem

I'm not very happy with my area Audi dealership.
I convinced one of my friends that she really "needed" a '02 1.8Tq instead of a SUV. She went to see the sales rep at my local dealership about the car - the thing was that she really wanted the Crystal Blue Metallic. He told her that there was only 9 over here in the states and that there was no way that he could find one. (Which I find hard to believe, only 9?!?)
She was obviously very dissappointed, and I told her to just try and call some of the other dealers closer to Boston (bigger city, more selection) - She found a dealership in CT. That had one on the lot. Um...
