Child seats in A6

Child seats in A6
Considering the A6 as the family car. Does anybody on the board have two child seats in their A6? How about one rear-facing and one forward facing? I'm 6'1 and my wife is 5'8 and I'm wondering if you can put a rear-facing child seat behind the passenger seat and still have enough leg room fr a tall passenger? Any comments will be appreciated.

Re: Child seats in A6
I have both a front facing (behind driver) and a rear facing portable in the center. We still manage to be able to carrying another passenger as needed.
Both seats are Graco.
My suggestion would be to take your seats to the dealership and see how they fit. We did this.

Shouldn't be a problem...I'm 6-4 and have plenty of room for car seats (3 & 5 yr. olds)
I just got my A6 and the plan is for us to use the trusty minivan for the kids but we have carted them around in the A6 a few times. One of the reasons I got the A6 over the Volvo S60 or BMW (both 3 & 5 series) was the interior space and huge trunk.

What model base is that?
