that clunking noise
what is the worst case scenario i could be looking at here... i get this spooky feeling that there is some sort of a contraption oddly masquerading as an old steering box from a '38 ford woodie that you need to remove the engine in pieces to get at...tell me i'm wrong, please, could it be as simple as tie rod ends? i did those last year i'm pretty sure, but that would be great, but what else could it possibly be, enlightenment will be unbelieveably apppreciated, thanks again and for decades to come,i should be so lucky, kevin

CV joints?
Clunking happen when turning?
Describe more fully...car moving, car stopped with engine running, engine in neutral, in drive, etc., etc.
