Coolant Fan Repair
PROBLEM: INSIDE RIGHT COOLANT FAN NOT RUNNING. Tested fan by disconnecting connector located directly under black cover for powersteering fluid, applied 12v power directly to coolant fan with no luck (NO SPIN). REPAIR: Removed coolant fan from car. Removed fan blades, Removed motor from fan frame. Tested fan again (NO SPIN. Removed top cover of fan motor, separated motor parts (NOTICED MAGNETS WHERE WORN DOWN) - cleaned parts w/MAF SENSOR CLEANER.
reassemblied motor. TEST W/12v (SPIN). PLACED MOTOR BACK ON FAN FRAME. (STILL SPINNING). ATTACHED FAN BLADE, TESTED W/12V (NO SPIN). SPECIAL NOTE: WHEN ATTACHING FAN ON MOTOR, DON'T OVER TIGHTEN 8mm BOLT). I loosened bolt on fan motor (I HAVE SPIN). TIGHTEN BOLT JUST ENOUGHT NOT FOR FAN TO SPIN WITHOUT WOBBLING. REASSEMBLED CAR, TESTED AIR CONDITION -- ISSUE SOLVED. BOTH FAN NOW SPINNING

So my A/C fan sounds like it's overspinning.....like my car is going to take off - it's that loud...
