Re: could someone with lowered A6 2.8 30v post the impressions with springs
I have a '99 A6 2.8L that i lowered with
the H&R sport springs from Tire Rack about 1 year ago. Unfortunaltely, afterwards I found out that these springs were based on the European version that apparently has a different front bumper or is higher. Consequently, my lowered A6 was actually lower than my NSX! Although I found the handling greatly improved, it cost me over $600 to fix my front end after striking a speed bump (actually, a negative one where the road is gouged out).
I was told it lowered the front 1.5" and rear 1.75". Too much! Personally, I'd got for the extra $$ and get the coilovers so you can adjust the height, change the sway bars too.
Good Luck
