Default Crickets in A/C System?

It's starting to get warm in California so I've been driving with the A/C on. When I'm at a stop light and the car is quiet I can hear a sound like there's crickets in the A/C system. Not sure what would make this sound. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and if they found a way to eliminate it?

Default blower motor, which is located behind the glovebox, needs to be replaced soon...

...at least that is what I think. My 2.7T had the same problem, and I had that fixed before I sold it.

Default Sorry, no AC posts allowed before June!

Please delete your post. We just got 10 or so inches of snow in New England this week!

It sounds like the blower motor might be going. When the crickets start, try changing the fan speed manually and see if there is a change.

Default Mine blows nice and cold. Sure needed it today.

It's been over 80 for the past 4-5 days. Nice spring skiing though. Brings out the girls skiing in bikinis. When I was there in CT picking up the car you guys were talking about how little snow you were getting this year. Guess Ma Nature has made up for it lately eh?

Default Rub it in. Thanks.

Yeah, big blast this weekend, but temps will hit 60 by Friday. Hopefully that will be enough to melt off the track for the weekend.
