Default Did my final 50K service....

The dealer replaced my rear brakes, shift **** (metal underneath had sharp edge the cut into fingers), wipers, fluids, and Nav button had a crack inside.

Now I have to find a good extended warranty... soon. I spoke to the manager and he tried selling me RepairMaster (Warrantech) Ultimate 4/48 for $3075 w/$200 deductable or $3559 w/zero deduct. Seemed much higher than what I have read in the archives here. After discussing costs, I mentioned that I'd rather pay over time and he "suddenly" realized he had a plan that did just that... JM&A Group. I liked the "Gold Plus" option but it only covers 3/36 for $3452 plus $240 for 4x4 and $240 for twin turbo. So even that is more expensive.

It looks like I will go with the Extended Auto Warranty Corp coverage (see link below) instead unless somone has a better one I should look at?

warranty corp.

Default Doug - I went with Extended, they just approved some $1300 in repairs, so that's 1/2 my cost already

paid for. I went with 6 years $0 deductible.

Default Call Autowarranty brokers...

speak to Joby.. she is helping a great many Audi word owners. Just be sure to ask for their Premier Exclusionary plan its better thand the Audi/JS&A and cost less than $2K and tell them you have only 45K on the car...

http://autowarrantybroker.com/</a

You need to tell them that they are squealing/making noise when braking.

They would have done the rears too but they were replaced at 5k when the fronts failed due to manufacturing defect. I have about 40% left on them.

Default Re: Call Autowarranty brokers...

Autowarranty brokers have good prices but Extended Warranty Corp covers same items as does the factory warranty, IE. wear and tear parts like brakes. Autowarranty will not cover same stuff. and 25K more miles for the additional cost of $600, I think it is worth it.
