Default Door Ajar Chime on intermittently

Took apart my door to work on the latch. Put in all back together and now what I assume is the door ajar buzzer goes off intermittently , it goes off even with the key out of the ignition. No codes on Vcds, checked wiring harness three times but rather than a defect in the wiring something must be sending a signal to the buzzer . I can't find a sensor in the door , it must be in the door latch ? I thought maybe after I adjusted the hinges and striker plate the latch might be activating the sensor but when I cycle the latch with a screw driver it doesn't turn off the alarm .Before I tear into the door latch I want to make sure I'm not missing something so if you have any ideas please let me know , its undriveable with this buzzer blaring !

There is a microswitch that is in the door latch. That switch is not working properly.

You can replace the switch with some effort, but the far easier way is to replace the entire latch.

Thanks George , the one thing I meant to mention that is throwing me off is that it’s just the buzzer going off . The display doesn’t show the door being open and the interior lights don’t come on . Would that switch malfunction in a way that only activates the buzzer ? From that video it seems like there could be a number of symptoms related to a faulty switch , or more than likely a switch I may have accidentally done something to when I was fixing the door . Because it didn’t do this before

Sorry, don't know... difficult to diagnose electrical problems from a distance.
