engine_suspension changes on 2000 A6 2.7
am thinking of chipping my 2.7. any eles out there done the same? ?best brands?
Also, have added the eibach sport springs. like the way the car looks and handles. Am now thinking 18" wheels and bigger sway bars. Anyone else out there done the same? What about the ride quality. Should I change the shocks at the same time? Any thoughts/experiences appreciated

Do shocks and springs at the same time
Because, at some point, you'll want sport shocks. The labor cost of doing the shocks at the same time is minimal - but you end up paying for 2 four wheel alignments, plus almost twice the labor if you do them seperately. (I know - I did it that way!) Konis and Eibachs...
If you live in "pothole country" (Northeast or northern plains) - I'd stay with 17". If not - you can go 18".

Re: Do shocks and springs at the same time
thanks to all so far
looks like konis, a bump to 235 rubber, and a bigger rear bar are next.
I like the looks of the 18" wheels but live in Pittsburgh, the city that invented potholes
