Default Family photos -- Chuck540 will like this....

We recently went over to the dark side and bought a 2001 BMW 325ci Convertible for my wife. I tried to talk her into a TT Roadster but a back seat and decent sized trunk was a must (boo-hoo!). Curiously enough, she likes the manual tranny while I like the Tip! Thought you'd all like to see a family photo.

After 18 years of Hondas, we're all German now!

Nice pair of cars. Good choice on the 325Cic. More practical than the TT

Default What a coincidence, my wife has a...

previous generation (E36), M3 convertible. It's a great car, but most of the time I prefer to drive my 2.7T. Must be that it's more of a sleeper.

S'OK. Never see me in one. Can't comfortably reach the pedals to shift.

Default My wife too, but it's a 325 Ci, the Cic is only available as 330 in SA (more)

Although it's a stunning looking car,I'm not too happy about it. BMW's are feeling more and more like MB and have lost their dynamics over the years.
The power steering is overboosted, although I received a call from BMW SA this week that they seem to have a steering retrofit kit for RHD cars.

My wife loves it though, but also finds the steering a bit light.

I'am sure you wife will enjoy the 325 Cic

Default I don't think they are...

As an owner of a Z3 3.0 ragtop along with my A6 4.2, I'd say that they aren't all chickmobiles. Very happy with the Z3 too.
