Default 1968 Ford Cortina - 1600 cc of raw poWAH! (NOT). Still, it was a reasonably

fun car, and easy to work on, so I learned how to wrench on cars which has served me well thus far.

Default Hillman Minx - convertible.

Good memories but the 1600 cc engine was pretty pathetic.

Default 1988 Ford Bronco II for $900

<center><img src="http://i12.ebayimg.com/06/i/001/08/44/b686_1.JPG"></center><p>(Image from ebay, but exact same set up)

Bought it early summer 1996. Spent most of my summer job money restoring it instead of saving for college expenses. Got it running top and was able to load it up with all my stuff for a 6 hour drive to Syracuse. Now that I look back, I can't believe I took a risk and drove that far without something breaking down.

Default I had one Lotus version, a '66, preceded by a 64 GT. Loved 'em both. Delusions

of grandeur, Jim Clark style.

Default 1981 VW Scirocco. Broke down on the reg. I still miss it though.

It was metalic blue 5-speed. hatch didn't lock and it was pretty scary to drive in bad weather b/c all the bushings were shot. I wasn't into cars then like I am now or I would have fixed it and kept it.
