Red 1966 Mustang coupe w/ straight 6 and a 5-speed

Loved that car! I bought it when I was 17 (1992) with a little help from my parents, but mostly cash I had saved up. The PO had replaced the 3-speed with a 5-speed from a fox chassis T-bird. Fun car, but I quickly got the urge to upgrade to a V8.
It was totalled less than a year later when a drunk rear-ended me with his F-250 pick-up. Despite the car being totaled the story has a happy ending because the insurance pay out was 50% more than I paid for the car and I took the money and bought another 66 Mustang coupe. A 289 V8 GT this time. I still own it too! (See pic above)

Way back in 77', my Dad bought me a 67' Mustang from one of his cronies at the local bar for $100.00.
Believe me when I say it was not cherry, but sure was a lot of fun to drive.
My next car was a 67' GTO convertible, again, not cherry but tons of fun to drive.
My GTO lasted through my college days at Ohio State and all the Ohio cold winters.
Sold it when I became a pilot in the Air Force, bummer eh!!
