New to the forum, hope you all can advise:

'01 2.7T, 5000 miles

I've seen a few posts on 'headliner creak'. My otherwise perfect car has developed this problem. Can anyone tell me what the dealers have done to correct it? I've got an appointment for 1/8.

over the last 7 months posters have both described having their dealer fix it, or doing it themselves. In the cases where the dealer fixed it, they said the dealer used felt kits to insert felt between the headliner and roof. One poster fixed it himself by using, I think, 1/2 inch weather stripping that he poked into the space over the headliner. Said it worked well and was easy to do
