Hey, what is the name of that spring-loaded thingie you can use to knock out your window
if you are trapped in your car? Someone posted something about this a few months back.

It's called a window punch.

Rarely called a window punch... main application is as a center punch for metalworking.
But the two auto parts places we have linked to do in fact call it a window punch, since that is the application they sell into.

Gee, I've never seen a punch+blade, only hammer+blade. Punch much better under water....
I posted a couple of threads about this, and why a hammer won't work under water, but a center punch will. Can't swing the hammer under water fast enough.
