High speed fan not working since overheating.
Hi, I have a 2000 A6 Quattro 2.8 ATQ - I overheated and had the water pump, timing belt, thermostat, etc. replaced. Now the electric cooling fan comes on with A/C at low speed instead of high speed. Kind of nice - no jet engine sound - but there's no fan without the A/C on even when the temp. gauge goes 1/8" above middle mark which it never used to do. Could it be the coolant temp. sensor?
