I need a new exhuast for the 2003 3.0L and I was wondering what are my best options?

Default I need a new exhuast for the 2003 3.0L and I was wondering what are my best options?
Does a 2.7L exhuast fit the 3.0?
Any performance 3.0L exhuast out there?
If niether the 4.2 or 2.7 work cat-back then where can I get a used 3.0L exhuast?


THe only reason I ask if there are 2.7 or 4.2 exhuasts out there bc ppl with those cars get aftermarket ones but the 3.0 is not a car that gets modified much.

Default The 4.2 & 2.7 exhausts are both plug n' play. My question to you is why do you need a new...
exhaust so early in the life of the car?

Default good question. My father bent the exhuast and kinked the SS piping in it and it is not
repairable. So, thats good news that they are the same. Now where can I get one used. Does anyone here have one lieing around?

go with magnaflow mufflers, tips and have a muffler shop install them

Which magnaflow mufflers and do you mean use the same tips?

Default I have the oval Magnaflow mufflers with 2.5" in and out...Yes, get new tips- thry're only a few
dollars...since the mufflers are being replaced get the tips done too...

I used the 5x8x14 ovals, side in center out. An 18" should also fit if you want it quieter
