IF service interval is 10000 AND the dealer uses NON SYN oil...
AND is upfront about it... are they parroting an official AUDI line that regulator dino oil is good for 10,000 miles??
Is there ANY official Audi source that backs this up-
PLEASE not opinion here (I'm a 3000 mile man too) I'm wondering if our beloved manufacturer is advocating this interval?? do they spec Synthetic or regular for their service intervals?

Well, personally I would go 10K with synthetic, or 5K with non-synthetic.
My BMW defaults to 15K on synthetic.
I would suggest letting it go for 5K, and then getting a synthetic oil change next time.
This isn't the first case of US Audi dealers using non-recommended oil, but Audi turns a blind eye.
