Interesting tidbit on the 3.2 V6 FSI motor -- it runs on 87 octane...
...that right there will save 10-15% on gasoline bills, plus if the motor's 5-10% more efficient to begin with, that works out to a 15-25% savings on gas costs. Now if Audi will just come out with a FSI V8, I figure I can drive one of those for the same fuel costs of driving a normal V6. That would definitely be a plus.

I would doubt it though, especially in twin turbo form. I believe that the FSI V8 is supposed to produce either 345, 370, 420 or 450 hp and 318, 332 or 339 lbs/ft of torque in normally aspirated form and either 480, 500, 530 or 580 hp and 428, 465 or 502 lbs/ft of torque in twin turbo form, all depending on model. The quantities hp and torque that are supposed to be produced by the FSI V8 are mere guesses and speculation, nothing more, nothing less. However, they are most likely very close and make a whole lot of sense.
