On the back of the bottle they told to rub thoroughly onto the paint to apply the wax. I was used to do not do that with Nu finish. Is it really a good way to aply it? How do you apply your Meguiar wax? TIA

Meguiars Gold Class is a "decent" wax-->
I've used it before, and it does an "OK" job. Nu-Finish is not really a wax, it's a polish. A polish is meant to clean, so it should be applied differently.

So if Nu Finish is a posish and we should use posish before wax, can I understant that I could use Nu Finish and then Meguiar?

Just apply it to a light coat and don't rub it in. I use medallion which is just a little different.
I put it on in long thin lines and let it dry thoroughly, then I take it off in straight lines with a "magic whipe" (another Meguiar's product). Let me know if you have more questions, I should have taken pictures of my car when I was waxing it!

yes, I bought mine from AWE tuning.
The clear bra is a mix-matched kit from Xpel, Armourfend and Clearbra.

No, stick with one brand....Meguiar's has several "systems" on their website...
Calling their 800 # and talking to one of their pros will help you with any specific problems with your car.
Buy a clear coat prep or paint cleaner in the Gold line.
Or step up to the Medallion line and get a paint cleaner in that line.
DO NOT USE THE LOW END RED BOTTLE STUFF.
I apply all coats with a random orbital machine and remove all coats with fluffy white expensive pure cotton towels. That's what Meguiar's pros recommend, regardless of what the botle directions say.
You may also want to get the #7 glaze.....it's a good polish for restoring the depth of color in your paint.
Once you've applied a coat of Gold Class or Medallion wax, wait two weeks and apply another coat. Depending on the climate you live in, it will last from three to six months.
(I fully detail both Audis with clear coat cleaner and a wax coat at least every three months....South LA climate is pretty harsh.)
Happy cleaning and waxing!
