My buddy in his Stage 3 TT 225 and I are side by side at about 50mph - we go for it and run dead even to about 100 where low and behold he pulls very quickly out on me so my front end the middle of his door, and then back to pulling even again - weird.

I was surprised at how hard that little sucker runs up high.

Then later on that same road trip down in Maryland, we hit a light side by side - I knew I was done for - no way for me to time the light, but I gave it my best anyway.

So there I am brake standing the car, waiting for the light to go green, takes too long so I back off the gas - just as I back off the gas, the light goes green (Murphy's law) and he gets the hole shot at 5k tach launch - burns all 4 tires up immediately pulls 1 car length thru the intersection and then we pull evenly thru 60mph, my getting beat by 1 car length right from the getgo.

For the rest of weekend every time there was a light, we somehow managed to be side by side. One time he said to me "We have to stop meeting like this" I replied - "You're absolutely right, my ego can't take it anymore!!"

Moral of the story...it's not nice to pick on cars smaller than yours.

Whats on a stage III? Shouldn't that thing blow by your 4.2?

The 225 comes with the K04 and the larger injectors from the factory.

My 4.2 runs pretty good though, I'm in the mid to high 13's thru the 1/4 (traps over 100), mid 5's 0-60. His primary advantage is off the line being lighter with the manual - he's probably pushing appx 280hp - once we're moving, its pretty close with slight nod to him.
