No--i have a 99GS400 now and I wanted a change. Outside of a larger engine the 02GS is basically the same car as my 99. Good car--no problems at all.

Re: The interior leg room on the GS looked to be the same as teh A4 on paper, true ?
A6 may have a bit more room in the rear passenger area. GS may have a bit more in the front (wider console area in the GS). If the A6 has more interior volume than the A4, the GS would also. I have no problem hauling 4 adults in the GS.

You will have to post what you think of it when you get it. I drive a '98 GS400 right now and I love it. My wife has a '98 A6 2.8 Quattro, which I like but it weak on power. Someday I might consider getting rid of the GS for a A6 4.2 with sport, so I'd love to know what you think.
