As for rotors, thinking of going with Zimmerman plain rotors unless there is a huge advantage with going with Zimmerman sport cross drilled. What do gents think?

According to the EBC website they advise to go with red stuff if the car has more than 200 bhp.
No doubt the price increases with the reds over the greens but so does the braking friction.

I have the EBC GreenStuff on my S4 right now. They are just OK; I have RedStuff in the box waiting
to go on...soon. The deal is the Greens are fine, but they are dustier than my OEM front pads (Jurid) on the HP2 calipers. They perform just fine, even more fade resistant but slightly less cold bite than the OEM pads; but I was hoping they would be less dusty. I think the Reds will be just the ticket. Price differential is not that much considering pads should last 3 years at least. Labor is more than pad cost, unless you DIY and even then the PITA factor is such that I would never try to save $ on pads. With the HP2, pad change can be done in 15 minutes (not including wheel removal), but still - unless you like to experiment, don't skimp on brake pads, rotors, or tires, IMO. These can all save your life in the right situation.
Realize that if you are putting new pads on old rotors, the break in will take longer (the pads will be noisier for a longer time, but eventually they will be silent). Good luck; there are some excellent reports on the RedStuff from the B5 S4 forum from some very knowledgable people.

yeah i think my next pads will be some red stuff or try some hawks on the hp2's, my rotors have org
76k on them so maybe that's why my new pbr ceramics or any pad i put on them squeal...still waiting... maybe i should just get some new rotors...but i haven't figured out how/tried to take the calipers off the front to get access to take the rotors off.

The HP2 calipers are held on by two big bolts. Mine hadn't been removed in a while, so
they were a PITA (even with an impact gun.) I ended up needing to use a long bar w/socket to remove them.
