Man, yesterday really brought out the nasties in some people regarding times. Jeeesh. Anyway here is another source of times, who knows the test condition, sources, cars, drivers, prep, etc. etc. blah blah blah. It seems to be a complete list, British in nature, but the times seem to coincide with most magazines. Interesting list. Check out the 0-100 times, very revealing of who's got the POWER.
By the way, I miss the A6 4.2. It snowed yesterday and the M is pouting in the garage.

I'll be laughing as I zoom past yur M5. And have money left for a Veyron or Murcielago downpayment.
I'll have faster cars to play with. You know Ferraris, Porsches, Lambos, etc.
But you can play with the Subaru WRX,
if you want.
Hey maybe better tires may help...

Hey, Corolla is on YOUR LIST. Almost any car can be bought, if you wait in line and have the cash.
Your M5 is "ranked" about 30 on your list of fastest 0--60 mph accelerations.
In any case, the validity of this list depends on things such as: model year of cars tested; mods and upgrades in cars; consistency of drivers and driving techniques; consistency of conditions; consistency of measuring equipment; etc, etc.
The only test I'd be interested in is one using the latest model year S6 and M5 with all the bells anbd whistles; BMW and Audi providing their best drivers; same conditions and measuring equipment.
Sorry, you take too long to reply and I've got to go for lunch now and then back to work. I think slow-roasted chicken is on the menu.
Mike, in the meantime, watch a really fast car -- AUDI's Lamborghini Murcielago. A really powerful car. Just click on the URL below. If your connection is too slow, make sure it downloads properly.
If you have any movies of a really fast BMW Mini, I'd love to see it.

http://www.lambocars.com/murcielago/movie_low.mov</a
