I STF and found several posts about flooring it with the key off, or just driving more aggressively to enduce the computer to switch over to better performance. I played around a bit coming back from Portland this weekend (plenty of time on the I-5 :-| ) and it *seemed* like putting the car into "Sport" mode increased the throttle response (keep in mind, this was after plenty of lazy highway miles).

If it is in fact changing those parameters for sport mode, I'd be pretty stoked. Anyone have any idea what exactly sport mode does?
