Default PhatBox hung, radio head unit is dead...

Fellow PhatBox owners:
I am having some problems with the unit -
last night it appeared to be hung after I tried to switch the playing track into Album mode. The only difference between this track and others is the size - it's very big, entire PF "Wish You Were Here" on one track.
So, the unit wouldn't respond to any buttons. I stopped my car, turned off the radio and reset PB by unplugging the power cable and plugging it back in. Then I realized that entire Head Unit went dead. I looked at the fuse - they are fine. Has anyone had similar experiences?

Thanks

Default Did you try unplugging the DMS?

That sometimes helps...I have had mine hang up occasionally and unplugging the DMS fixed it...
Failing that..unplug the Blitzsafe connector from the OEM connector and from the phatbox...let sit for 15 minutes and reconnect...let the system boot up and see what happens...failing that email Phatbox for customer support...Dan Benyamin is the man to deal with...

Default Re: PhatBox hung, radio head unit is dead...

Yes, I tried unplugging it, the radio won't turn on at all. I just went to my dealership, and they said that the radio is fried, they also replaced it. I am kinda worried now to use the PhatBox.
Dan Benyamin - yes, he is the one I deal with, very knowledgeable good guy.
BTW -
when you buy "Premium BOSE" stereo - is it just the speakers or is the head unit different too. If head unit is different, then how do I know that they put the right one in. When I booted up my old radio, it used to say BOSE on the LCD, and it doesn't do it anymore. Is it just the string that you preset somewhere or is the head unit actually different?

Thanks
